Market Update June 8 2023
Alice Lema: [00:00:00] Hey everybody. Welcome back to the Market Statistics for Southern Oregon. This is the week ending June 8th, 2023. Let's start with Klamath Falls, Klamath County this week, year over year, prices are up 10%. We're so happy to report that, but that's partly why we watch this every week. Prices Klamath are up 10% to an average $352,321, that's a single family residential. The number of solds year over year in Klamath County are down 26%. The number of listings year over year are down 10%. The foreclosures in Klamath County this week were zero. The short sales closed this week in Klamath were zero. The million dollar single family residential properties were zero closings in Klamath county this week.
Josephine County prices year over year are down 14% to an average [00:01:00] of $445,450. The number of sold year over year in Josephine County are down 4%, so a little bit better. The number of listings year over year in Josephine County are down 12%. And the number of foreclosures that close this week in Josephine County are zero. The number of short sales that closed in Josephine County this week are zero, and the number of million dollar properties that close this week and Josephine County are also zero. And again, that single family residential only.
Well, let's talk about Jackson County. Jackson County Prices year over year this week are down 15% to an average $457,707. The number of sold year over year in Jackson County. are minus 38%. That's still a big decline, but we're, again, we're watching every week. So if something can pop up in Klamath, maybe [00:02:00] something will pop up in Jackson County soon as well. Anyway, back to finishing Jackson County. The number of solds year over year we're down 38%. The number of listings year over year are down 11%. There were zero. Foreclosures closed this week in Jackson County. There were zero short sales that closed this week in Jackson County, and zero million dollar sales that closed in Jackson County. And again, that's residential single family only. The numbers are different for different kinds of property in different counties.
