Rogue River, Oregon (the town, not the River) it is a city in Jackson County, Oregon. Population as of the 2010 census was 2131 people. It is on the north side of the Rogue River and about 20 miles south of Medford. It is near interstate 5. And it is along the banks of the Rogue River! It is 8 miles from Grant's Pass. 

The Palmerton Arboretum is a local. attraction on 5 acres with about 90 species of trees. It also has a playground, picnic tables and a duck pond. Also nearby is the Valley of the Rogue State park only 3 miles away. 

There are a number of White Water Rafting companies. And don't miss the annual  - National Rooster Crowing Contest. It has been held here since  1953. There is a parade and jamboree - held the last Saturday in June.
